Assessment Tax Returns
The self assessment season has just
finished so many business owners are breathing a sigh of relief
after getting their tax returns filed on time. HMRC reported over
10 million people submitted their returns by 31st January, however
there are still hundreds of thousands who have not yet filed their
If you have missed the deadline, don't
panic, Daniel Mould and the team are here to help. Filing your tax
return a few days late will result in a penalty of £100 but
remember the longer you leave it the more fines you'll incur.
HMRC allow people to submit a claim
form if there is a reasonable excuse for not filing on time.
Reasonable excuses include such situations as your records being
destroyed in a fire or flood near to the deadline, a serious
illness or a death in your immediate family.
