Although, with the new Act, as of the 1st October 2007 a company secretary is no longer legally required, the current statutory duties of a company secretary still have to be performed and therefore must be absorbed by a director or directors. This is all the more important because of the new onus that the companies act places on a director in the discharging of his duties to the company. We can also manage registers electronically which will therefore allow companies to centralise the complexities of corporate compliance by using our Corporate Services.

The new act also makes important changes to the appointment of directors as a company, as of 1st October 2007, can no longer be made up solely of corporate entities filling the role of director. ATC Solutions can therefore provide a named Director Services whereby we can offer named Directors to fill this and other functions.
